Dough Divider Rounder

Dough Divider Rounder

Model: DDR5PN / DDR6PN

Revolutionize Your Dough Processing with Dough Divider & Rounder

Designed for commercial bakeries, central kitchens, and food manufacturers, the Lian Huat Dough Divider Rounder automates dough dividing and rounding to improve production efficiency and consistency. Available in multiple configurations and production capacities to suit different production requirements. It provides consistent dough portioning and uniform rounding for reliable downstream processing.

Built with industrial-grade construction and engineered for continuous production, the machine helps reduce dependence on manual labour while maintaining consistent dough handling and production output. Its automated dividing and rounding process supports more efficient bakery operations, improved product uniformity, and reliable performance in high-volume production environments.

Performance & Engineering

Two-Stage Rounding for Consistent Dough Shape

To achieve more consistent dough shape and surface tension. The first rounding stage uses a rounding drum, followed by a second-stage rounding cup to further refine the dough shape. This multi-stage process provides more controlled and uniform rounding while minimizing excessive stress on the dough.

Gentle Dough Handling

Designed with controlled dough handling in mind, the two-stage rounding process helps maintain dough integrity during high-volume production. The progressive rounding action reduces unnecessary mechanical stress on the dough, supporting more consistent dough development and reliable downstream processing.

Flexible Weight & Speed Adjustment

Dough weight can be continuously adjusted within the applicable weight range through the control screen, while the second rounding cup also provides manual adjustment for fine-tuning. Rounding time and machine speed can be adjusted according to dough characteristics and production requirements, giving operators greater control over the production process.

Industrial-Grade Drive & Control Components

Key drive and control components are selected from established international manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Japan inverters, Panasonic Japan touch screens, Oriental Motor Japan motors, and Optibelt Germany PU timing belts. These components are selected to support stable machine operation, precise control, and reliable performance in continuous production environments.

Food-Grade Dough Contact Components

All components that come into contact with dough are manufactured from food-grade materials and are supported by food-grade certification, helping meet the hygiene and material requirements of commercial and industrial food production.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dough hydration percentage should be used as a reference only and should not be the sole basis for determining machine suitability. Different types of flour have different protein content and water absorption characteristics, so doughs with the same hydration percentage can have different consistencies and handling properties.

For doughs with hydration above 60%, we recommend providing the basic recipe and a video showing the dough condition immediately after mixing. This allows our team to better evaluate the dough characteristics and determine whether it is suitable for dividing and rounding.

For example, a basic recipe can be provided in the following format:

Flour: 10 kg
Water: 5.5 litres
Sugar: 1.5 kg
Margarine: 1.0 kg

The actual suitability of the dough depends not only on its hydration level, but also on the flour characteristics, formulation, dough consistency, and condition after mixing.

Different Lian Huat Dough Divider Rounder configurations are available for different dough weight requirements. Depending on the selected model and configuration, available dough weight ranges include 15–50 g, 30–90 g, and 90–120 g.

The appropriate configuration can be selected according to the required dough weight and production application.

The Lian Huat Dough Divider Rounder uses two stages of rounding to achieve more consistent dough shape while providing gentler dough handling. The first rounding stage uses a rounding drum, followed by a second rounding stage using a rounding cup to further refine the dough shape.

This progressive rounding process helps improve rounding consistency while minimizing excessive mechanical stress on the dough, supporting more uniform dough pieces for subsequent processing.

Yes. The Dough Divider Rounder can serve as part of a broader production automation system as production requirements grow. Additional equipment can be integrated to increase the level of automation, such as an automatic panning system or sesame duster.

For customers with higher production requirements, the Dough Divider Rounder can also form part of a more comprehensive bread roll production line, allowing automation to be expanded progressively as the business grows.
